Olive Oil & Sea Salt Ice Cream
This Olive Oil & Sea Salt Ice Cream is an unexpected yet delightful treat that combines the smooth, creamy texture of ice cream with the rich, fruity notes of olive oil and a touch of sea salt.
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt plus extra for topping
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional
Mix condensed milk, olive oil, sea salt, and vanilla until smooth. Add honey if desired.
Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the olive oil mixture.
Freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
Scoop and top with extra sea salt for serving.
