Olive Oil & Sea Salt Ice Cream

This Olive Oil & Sea Salt Ice Cream is an unexpected yet delightful treat that combines the smooth, creamy texture of ice cream with the rich, fruity notes of olive oil and a touch of sea salt.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt plus extra for topping
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup optional

Instructions
 

  • Mix condensed milk, olive oil, sea salt, and vanilla until smooth. Add honey if desired.
  • Whip the heavy cream to stiff peaks.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the olive oil mixture.
  • Freeze for 4-6 hours until firm.
  • Scoop and top with extra sea salt for serving.
