Garlic Hummus Recipe

- 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup tahini
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil plus more for drizzling
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice about 1 lemon
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin optional
- 1/4 tsp paprika for garnish
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Peel and mince the garlic cloves.
In a food processor, combine chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and cumin. Blend until smooth.
Add water, 1 tablespoon at a time, to adjust consistency if needed.
Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary.
Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Garnish with paprika and fresh parsley.
