Creamy Hummus Recipe

Hummus is a classic Middle Eastern dip that has become beloved worldwide for its rich, creamy texture and savory flavor. Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 15 oz chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1-2 garlic cloves minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tbsp water if needed
  • Fresh parsley and paprika for garnish

Method
 

  1. Drain and rinse chickpeas.
  2. Blend chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt in a food processor.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy, adding water to adjust consistency.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning, then blend again.
  5. Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, garnish with parsley and paprika.
