Method
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugar; mix in egg and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients to form dough.
- Chill dough for 1 hour. Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Roll out dough and cut carrot shapes. Bake for 8–10 minutes. Cool completely.
- Mix icing ingredients; color orange and green.
- Decorate cookies with icing and let set.
- Serve or store in an airtight container.
