- 4 slices thick bread preferably day-old
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk dairy or non-dairy
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon butter for grilling
- 1 cup mixed berries strawberries, blueberries, raspberries
- Maple syrup for drizzling
- Wooden skewers soaked for 30 minutes
