Valentine’s Bark Recipe

This Valentine’s Bark Recipe is a quick, no-bake chocolate treat made with melted chocolate and festive Valentine toppings.

Ingredients
  

  • Base Ingredients
  • 12 oz chocolate white, milk, dark, or a mix
  • ½ cup Valentine-themed sprinkles
  • ½ cup Valentine candies M&M’s, candy hearts, or chocolate candies
  • Optional Add-Ins
  • Crushed Oreos
  • Pretzel pieces sweet & salty
  • Freeze-dried strawberries or raspberries
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Chopped nuts
  • Optional Chocolate Drizzle
  • Melted contrasting chocolate dark over white or white over dark

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Pan
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Set aside toppings so they’re ready—timing matters once chocolate melts.
  4. Melt the Chocolate
  5. Chop chocolate into small pieces.
  6. Melt in the microwave in 20–30 second intervals, stirring each time, or use a double boiler.
  7. Stir until smooth and glossy.
  8. Spread the Chocolate
  9. Pour melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet.
  10. Use a spatula to spread into an even layer, about ¼-inch thick.
  11. Decorate
  12. Immediately sprinkle Valentine candies, sprinkles, and add-ins over the chocolate.
  13. Gently press toppings down so they stick.
  14. Add Drizzle (Optional)
  15. Drizzle melted contrasting chocolate over the top for a decorative finish.
  16. Chill & Set
  17. Refrigerate for 15–20 minutes, until fully set.
  18. Let sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before breaking.
  19. Break & Serve
  20. Break into rustic pieces and serve—or package for gifting.
