Ingredients
  

  • For the Truffles
  • 1 package Oreo cookies
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • For Coating
  • 12 oz chocolate melting wafers white, milk, or dark
  • For Decoration
  • Valentine sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Make the Oreo Mixture
  2. Add Oreo cookies to a food processor.
  3. Pulse until fine crumbs form.
  4. Add softened cream cheese.
  5. Blend until the mixture is smooth and dough-like.
  6. Shape the Truffles
  7. Scoop mixture into tablespoon-sized portions.
  8. Roll into smooth balls using your hands.
  9. Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  10. Chill
  11. Refrigerate truffles for 20–30 minutes until firm.
  12. Chilling helps them hold their shape during dipping.
  13. Dip in Chocolate
  14. Melt chocolate wafers until smooth.
  15. Dip each truffle into chocolate, fully coating.
  16. Use a fork to lift and tap off excess chocolate.
  17. Decorate
  18. While chocolate is still wet, add Valentine sprinkles.
  19. Drizzle with contrasting chocolate if desired.
  20. Set
  21. Let truffles set at room temperature or refrigerate for 10–15 minutes until firm.
