Red Velvet Oreo Cookies

These soft and chewy Red Velvet Oreo Cookies are rich, chocolatey, and loaded with crunchy Oreo pieces. They’re easy to make and perfect for sharing or enjoying with a glass of milk.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon red food coloring
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 12 Oreos roughly chopped

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs, vanilla extract, and red food coloring; mix until combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
  6. Fold in chopped Oreos gently.
  7. Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing evenly.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set.
  9. Cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

  • Store cookies in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
  • Add white chocolate chips for extra sweetness.
  • Dough can be frozen and baked later as needed.
