Peach & Brie Grilled Cheese
This Peach & Brie Grilled Cheese is a deliciously sweet and savory twist on the classic grilled cheese sandwich.
- 2 slices of bread sourdough, brioche, or country loaf
- 2 oz brie cheese sliced
- 1 ripe peach sliced thinly
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tsp honey optional
- Fresh basil or thyme optional
Slice the peach and brie. Butter the bread on one side, drizzling honey if desired.
Layer brie and peach slices on the unbuttered side of one slice of bread.
Grill the sandwich in a skillet over medium heat, pressing down gently, for 3-4 minutes per side until golden and the cheese is melted.
Slice and serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
