Method
- In a large bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
- Spread a thin layer of whipped cream at the bottom of your dish.
- Add a layer of graham crackers or cookies.
- Spread a layer of whipped cream over the crackers.
- Add a layer of mixed berries.
- Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with cream and berries on top.
- Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Slice and serve chilled.
Notes
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- You can swap berries based on what’s in season.
- For extra flavor, add a thin layer of berry jam between layers.
- Letting it chill overnight will give you the best soft, cake-like texture.
