Maple Glazed Sausage & Apple Skewers
These Maple Glazed Sausage & Apple Skewers are the perfect blend of sweet, savory, and smoky flavors. Juicy sausage, crisp apples, and a rich maple glaze come together in a mouthwatering, caramelized bite.
- 12 oz smoked sausage sliced
- 2 large apples cut into cubes
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Skewers
Slice the sausage and apples into bite-sized pieces.
Mix maple syrup, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
Thread sausage and apple pieces onto skewers.
Grill (375-400°F): 6-8 minutes, turning and glazing.
Oven (400°F): 12-15 minutes, turning and glazing.
Stovetop: 6-8 minutes in a skillet, turning and glazing.
Drizzle with extra glaze and serve with mustard or a dipping sauce.
