Method
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the crescent dough.
- Unroll the dough and separate it into 4 large rectangles (press seams to seal if needed). Cut each into thin strips, about 1 cm wide.
Assemble the mummy dogs.
- Pat hot dogs dry. Place a half slice of cheese on each (optional), then wrap with dough strips, crisscrossing to resemble mummy bandages. Leave a small gap at the top for eyes.
Bake.
- Arrange on the baking sheet and bake for 13–17 minutes, or until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
Make the eyes.
- Let cool slightly. Then add:
- Option 1: Candy eyes
- Option 2: Dabs of mayonnaise or mustard + black sesame seeds for pupils
Serve.
- Enjoy warm with mustard and ketchup for dipping. Great for Halloween parties or spooky movie nights!
