Method
Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Make the Graham Cracker Crust:
- In a bowl, mix the crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar (optional). Press the mixture into the bottom of a cast-iron skillet or oven-safe dish. Bake for 5 minutes to set the crust and give it a golden texture.
Layer the Chocolate:
- Remove the skillet from the oven. Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over the graham cracker crust.
Add the Marshmallows:
- Top the chocolate with the mini marshmallows (or halved regular marshmallows), spreading them out evenly across the surface.
Bake the Dip:
- Place the skillet back in the oven and bake for 7–10 minutes, or until the marshmallows are golden brown and the chocolate is fully melted.
Top and Serve:
- Remove the skillet from the oven and immediately sprinkle red, white, and blue sprinkles on top. Serve with graham crackers, cookies, or fruit for dipping.
