Fire-Roasted Tomato & Basil Bruschetta
Fire-Roasted Tomato & Basil Bruschetta is a simple yet flavorful appetizer perfect for summer cookouts, camping trips, or backyard gatherings.
- 4 large tomatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes optional
- ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze optional
- 1 baguette sliced
- 2 tbsp butter or olive oil for toasting
Roast Tomatoes: Grill over an open flame for 5-7 minutes or roast in the oven at 450°F for 15-20 minutes until charred.
Prepare Mixture: Peel, dice, and mix tomatoes with garlic, olive oil, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, and basil.
