Ingredients
  

  • 1 large butternut squash peeled, seeded, cut into fry sticks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch optional, for crispiness

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Toss squash fries in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and cornstarch if using.
  3. Spread fries in a single layer, leaving space between each piece.
  4. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and slightly crisp.
  5. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
