Cheesy Brussels Sprouts

Tender roasted Brussels sprouts baked in a creamy cheese sauce until bubbly and golden. This comforting side dish is simple, satisfying, and perfect for any meal.

Ingredients
  

  • pounds Brussels sprouts trimmed and halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • cups shredded cheese cheddar or mozzarella
  • 1 clove garlic minced

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread them cut-side down in a baking dish and roast for 20 minutes.
  4. In a small bowl, mix cream, garlic, and half of the cheese.
  5. Remove sprouts from the oven and pour the cheese mixture over them.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Return to the oven and bake for 15–20 minutes until bubbly and lightly browned.
  8. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven. Add cooked bacon or mushrooms for variation.
