Cheesy Apple Quesadillas

Sweet, crisp apples meet gooey, melted cheese in these quick and irresistible quesadillas. Perfect for breakfast, a snack, or a light lunch, they’re golden, crispy, and packed with flavor. Add a drizzle of honey, a sprinkle of cinnamon, or a dollop of Greek yogurt for an extra cozy touch!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium apples Honeycrisp or Gala, thinly sliced
  • 4 flour tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or cheddar + mozzarella blend
  • 1 tsp butter or cooking spray for skillet
  • Optional: cinnamon honey, caramel drizzle, or Greek yogurt for serving

Method
 

  1. Wash, core, and thinly slice apples. Optionally toss with cinnamon.
  2. Sprinkle half of each tortilla with cheese, layer apple slices, then top with remaining cheese. Fold in half.
  3. Heat skillet over medium heat with butter or cooking spray. Cook quesadillas 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese melts.
  4. Slice into wedges and serve warm with toppings of choice.

Notes

  • Use a cheese blend for optimal gooeyness and flavor.
  • Slice apples thinly for even cooking.
  • Keep cooked quesadillas warm in a 200°F oven while finishing the rest.
  • For on-the-go snacks, wrap in parchment paper.
