Campfire Taco in a Bag is the ultimate no-mess, easy-to-make camping meal that’s packed with flavor. Also known as walking tacos, this fun dish transforms a simple bag of chips into a delicious, portable taco bowl.

Ingredients
  

  • Brown the ground beef or turkey in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess grease.
  • Stir in taco seasoning and water simmer for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  • Lightly crush chips inside each bag and cut open the top.
  • Spoon taco meat into the chip bags then top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, jalapeños, and salsa.
  • Garnish with cilantro optional and serve with a fork. Enjoy!

  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 6 small bags of chips (Doritos, Fritos, or tortilla chips)
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)
  • 1/4 cup salsa or hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
