These Campfire Nachos with Black Beans and Fresh Salsa are the ultimate crowd-pleasing snack for any outdoor gathering.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large bag tortilla chips
  • 1 can 15 oz black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 2 cups shredded cheese cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend
  • 1 cup fresh salsa
  • 1/2 cup sliced jalapeƱos optional
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions optional
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for greasing
  • Fresh cilantro optional
  • Sour cream optional
  • Guacamole optional

Instructions
 

  • Prepare a campfire or preheat your grill to medium heat.
  • Grease a cast-iron skillet or foil with olive oil.
  • Layer tortilla chips, black beans, cheese, and jalapeƱos in the skillet or foil packs.
  • Cook over the fire or grill for 10-15 minutes until the cheese melts.
  • Top with fresh salsa, green onions, cilantro, sour cream, and guacamole.
