Bacon Wrapped Asparagus

Crispy bacon wrapped around tender asparagus spears makes an easy, flavorful side dish. It’s simple to prepare, oven-baked, and perfect for both everyday meals and special occasions.

Ingredients
  

  • Fresh asparagus spears trimmed
  • Thin-cut bacon slices
  • Olive oil
  • Black pepper optional
  • Garlic powder optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.
  2. Lightly toss asparagus with olive oil and arrange in a single layer.
  3. Wrap one slice of bacon around each asparagus spear.
  4. Place wrapped asparagus seam-side down on the baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip each spear.
  6. Bake another 10–15 minutes until bacon is crispy.
  7. Remove from oven and season lightly if desired before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in the oven or air fryer to keep the bacon crisp.
  • Try adding grated parmesan or a drizzle of balsamic glaze for variation.
