Avocado Deviled Eggs with a Hint of Lime
These Avocado Deviled Eggs with a Hint of Lime are a fresh twist on the classic deviled egg. The creamy, rich avocado filling adds a silky texture and a subtle, earthy flavor, while the lime juice provides a zesty and refreshing finish.
- 6 large eggs hard-boiled and peeled
- 1 ripe avocado mashed
- 2 tbsp Greek yogurt or mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1/2 tsp lime zest optional
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro or parsley for garnish
Slice the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks.
Mash the yolks with avocado, Greek yogurt, lime juice, lime zest, and mustard.
Season with salt and pepper, and spoon or pipe the mixture into the egg whites.
